That’s twisted stems from a raw melancholy — the inability to envision a hopeful future, the panic of a collapsing world.
The piece draws from the pop anthems of my childhood — songs that moved as if the end was already here — and dives into a strange nostalgia. Not to escape, but to distort the past and reshape it.
In this fragmented time, the “now” becomes a refuge, a space of survival. It unfolds as a psychedelic, monstrous journey through a present in search of meaning — a shifting collage of affects where dissociation becomes a mode of resistance.

Baptiste Cazaux is a French dancer and choreographer based in Geneva. They have worked with artists such as Jan Martens, Ayelen Parolin and Katerina Andreou.
From 2021 to 2024, they were an associate artist at L’Abri and Théâtre Sévelin 36. Their third piece, GIMME A BREAK !!!, premiered at La Bâtie – Festival de Genève in 2023.
Their next creation, That’s twisted, will premiere at Pavillon ADC in spring 2026.
