To what extent is the factory-system capable of shaping our most intimate thoughts and altering our habits without our awareness? And how far does the body itself become an extension of the labour it performs?

Through a performative research into the body as social and productive matter, the work explores the physical and emotional transformation of the individual within the system. The material enters the body, moulds it, alters its posture, breath and perception. The person is thus suspended between individual identity and imposed role — between autonomy and belonging to a structure that disciplines human behaviour in order to function.
