ITA

A singer-songwriter who grew up amidst the hardships of southern Italy, his lyrics focus on social issues, where historical references and parallels frame his themes of protest.

Musically, his songs find their place in a new context. Eman opens the door to a modern writing style, where reggae, classic singer-songwriter, dark music, electro-pop, and rhythms blend with a deep focus on lyrics.

He immediately found favor with young audiences and, over time, has expanded his reach to include an older audience as well. Eman appeals to a variety of age groups and, regardless of genre, captivates diverse cultures: from underground listeners to those of well-crafted pop, from those immersed in reggae culture to those fascinated by dubstep, from lovers of classic singer-songwriters to new generations seeking any form of music that speaks to their time.

Bio

Eman, born Emanuele Aceto in Catanzaro in 1983, was released in 2016.

His first album, “AMEN,” was released in 2016 by Sony Music Italy, and the singles “Giorno e notte,” “Amen,” and “Chiedo scusa” were spawned from it.

The summer tour that followed the album’s release boasted several sold-out performances, and shortly thereafter, the Calabrian singer-songwriter was chosen by Fabrizio Moro to open his concert.

On April 28, 2018, Eman returned to the Italian stage with two dates in Rome and Milan to present his latest studio album for Jackie & Juliet/Artist First, the title of which has not yet been revealed by the artist.
