Jalousie des tempêtes!! is a thoroughly unfaithful re-activation. In collaboration with singer Jeanne Pâris/Jano, Emma Saba haunts the classical operatic repertoire with ghosts from the present. In a game of historical ubiquity of bodies and voices, Emma and Jano entangle themselves in a journey through genre, wavering between attempts and disillusionment of belonging.

Bio

Emma Saba dances and choreographs dances. She collaborates with Colletivo Cinetico, Clara Delorme, Cosima Grand, Teresa Vittucci, Nina Negri, Marlène Charpentier, Marie Jeger among others. She is part of collectif foulles with whom she creates performances and installations.

Her solo la fine di tutte le cose / l’inizio di tutte le altre has been presented in Switzerland, France and Italy. Following her musical studies in Bologna, she graduated at La Manufacture (Lausanne) in 2021 and she is currently an associate artist at L’Abri – Genève.
