The movement of the body as a mean of understanding the infinitude of the human soul. Music as a bridge to an elsewhere. Where the two intertwine, a space of possibility emerges — where the body becomes immaterial and music takes shape.

Orage is a joint score between Dalila Belaza’s body and the music of free rock composer and guitarist Serge Teyssot-Gay. On a bare stage, a meeting of arts and minds unfolds — a raw and unfiltered revelation that draws us into a world where expressiveness is free from the theatricalisation of emotion.

Bio

Since 2020, Dalila has been working on her own projects with hiya compagnie, developing a body of work that explores themes of identity and the dialogue between ritual dance and abstraction.

“I’m looking for the intimate, mysterious and unchanging story that lies dormant within us, a story that speaks to our being in an essential sense and can bring us together.
